Case 73: Hemoptysis due to an Extra-Thoracic Cause
Hemoptysis can be due to multiple causes including extra-thoracic disease.
This 44 years old man came with acute hemoptysis. CT chest showed a mass in the left lower lobe and so a PET/CT was done.
As it turns out, he was a known case of chronic pancreatitis and had an MRCP two months prior that showed normal lower lobes.
The video describes the case and how the diagnosis was reached with a short discussion on imaging of hemoptysis.
