Identifying Altered Density in ILD
Scrolling through comparative images helps us identify superimposed complications
Case:
This was published as a Youtube Case of the Day 206.
A 69-year-old came in 2022 with gradually progressive dyspnea.

This is a usual interstitial pneumonia pattern (UIP pattern), consistent with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), because there was no etiology found after thorough investigations.

He came back over the years and in Feb 2026 there was altered density in the left lower lobe.

The video discusses each case on Osirix, going through the findings and then scrolling through the comparatives together to show how to identify altered density and then what it means.
