A 67-years old patient presented with gradually progressive breathlessness.

A CT scan was done.

  1. Probable UIP/IPF
  2. Typical UIP/IPF
  3. Fibrotic hypersensitivity pneumonitis
  4. Interstitial lung abnormality (ILA)

He then presented with acute onset worsening.

Thoughts?

  1. Acute exacerbation
  2. Infection
  3. Medication induced pulmonary injury
  4. Cardiac failure
