Case 45: The Power of Eggshell Calcification

This 51 years old man presented in Dec 2020 with a diagnosis of possible lymphangitis on the basis of septal thickening, lung nodules, calcified nodes and a left lung mass. A biopsy at the time was negative and the patient fell through the cracks for a year.

Recently, the patient presented again and his CT scan showed typical eggshell calcification in one of the nodes, which triggered a detailed questioning of his occupational history, which in turn revealed the diagnosis.
